Jadeo is a rock solid performer with many enhancements. Jadeo was previously owned by a family of 5 for six years and was sailing regularly from the San Juans to Desolation Sound. She has been very well maintained and had many additions to her equipment list.
Cockpit cushions together with the bimini make for comfortable warm sailing even in January. Upgraded cabin doors from wood slats to plexiglass hinged doors allow more light into cabin. The galley has the optional 3-burner propane stove, ice-box, double sink with new fawcet (July 2006) and pressure system pump, hot and cold pressure water (hot water is both shore-power or engine heated).
A new head was installed April 2008. The shower has a retractable curtain.
The engine and electrical system are in mint condition with a NEW 16 HP Diesel Engine in February of 2005. Deep cycle (new in 2005) and starter batteries (new in 2007) in top condition. Additionally a 15 amp dual battery charger has kept the batteries topped up at all times. A volt meter has been directly connected to the battery switch allowing the testing of battery power on each battery individually and to determine the rate of charge of the alternator when powering.
A 400 watt inverter allows running household appliances (TVs, laptops, etc.) and electronics through the same outlets as shore-power even when you are out at sea.
Both a Bruce and Danforth anchors come with a substantial amount of chain and rode.
A partial list of the upgrades include: molded aluminum spreaders, solar powered mast light (no power draw at night), dodger and bimini (rare on this size of boat) both with brand new windows in July 2004 and a Force 10 BBQ. Newly painted deck with West Marine best quality top coat (July 04), self tailing winches for genoa, complete safety lines with new sleeves (in 2003), Sony MP3 stereo and West Marine Speakers, , Garmin GPS/Sounder with G-chart chips for complete range from Puget Sound to Desolation Sound and can register depths up to 1200 feet. New VHF in 2006 at the Nav table.
The list of improvements goes on but come and see this beautiful example of one of the world's most popular cruisers for yourself. Bottom coat and anti-fouling was last done in Fall of 2006
