August 17, 2007 - Dark clouds did not faze us; off we journeyed out beyond Snake and Protection islands, away from the tedium and predictability of dry land. Capt. Dan gave us the wheel and never reclaimed it till we neared his mooring. A fabulous afternoon, a terrific captain, and an adorable maltese mascot. Thanks for a great memory.  Jo Carol & Curtis Athens GA

July 19, 2007 - Caught up with ``Skipper Dan’’ about 11:30, just in time to set sail to the Dinghy Dock pub for lunch. Well, OK, so we didn’t sail there. Any way a nice lunch and 2 refreshments later we were off under jib to head out into the chuck. Good breeze, no swells, hit 6 - 7 knots as we headed for Snake Island. Headed in after passing the ferry. ``Skipper Dan’’ let Skipper Stew do the steering (handle the rudder?) and what a fine job he did. Back on land in time to hit the Muddy Waters to water our parched throats. Cheers Danno - Awsome! We won’t wait 15 years to catch up again! Stefanie & Stew, New Zealand
